The most common transportation of Colonial days was by horseback. Farmers and merchants used horse-drawn carts or wagons to transport goods. Wealthy people owned horse's so they were able to get around by horse and carriage.
In today's times we have many different forms of transportation. Trains, planes, automobiles and boats are most peoples form of getting around. Some people use public transportation to get back and forth to work.
